Each pouch contains the organic, hand-selected herbs needed to brew your own small-batch elderberry syrup at home—just add distilled, purified, or spring water and raw local honey.

Instructions
How to Make Your Elderberry Syrup
Yields approximately 3 cups of syrup.
You will need:

1 kit of dried elderberry blend

4 cups distilled, purified, or spring water

1 cup raw local honey (or more to taste)

Medium saucepan

Fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth
-
Clean glass jar with lid for storage
Directions:

Add Ingredients to Pot
Pour the entire contents of your elderberry kit into a saucepan. Add 4 cups of water. -
Simmer Slowly
Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 30-40 minutes, or until liquid has reduced by about half. -
Mash & Strain
Remove from heat. Let steep for 1 hour, then strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean jar. Use the back of a spoon to mash the berries gently. Discard solids. -
Cool & Sweeten
Let the liquid cool until just warm (not hot). Stir in 1 cup raw local honey to preserve and sweeten the syrup. Adjust to taste. -
Bottle & Store
Store syrup in refrigerator. Use within 2–3 months.
Suggested Use:

Adults: 1 tablespoon daily

Children (over 1 year): 1 teaspoon daily

Increase to 2–3 times daily at first signs of illness. (Not recommended for children under 1 year due to honey content.)
